Oh congratulations, on a thread referencing an article on Sunak and his view on wage inflation you make the the first reply a whataboutery special to dig at Starmer (again)

It’s people like you that will increase chances of Tories remaining in power FFS. (Whilst demonstrating the same behaviors you cried about when people kept on digging at your Cult leader Corbyn)

It’s entirely valid if the proposed alternative is Starmer’s Labour. I want us to get out of the limited and damaging neoliberal rut embraced by both Sunak and Starmer.

But by all means let’s make it about the red empty, self-serving neoliberals vs. the blue ones. I’m sure that will bring about the change the UK and its most disadvantaged and under-represented people (including millions in full-time work) need.

Ironically, you’ve got that the wrong way round.

I think Noggin is supremely well placed in the more balanced and social democratic Norway to see exactly how whining and self-hating Britain has become. It’s quite clear that there’s nothing like the same commitment to a progressive and equitable society that takes care of those who need support the most like the poor, the young, the sick and the otherwise marginalised.

Not just compared to the Nordics and the rest of Western Europe that can balance 21st century social democracy with the needs of a 21st century capitalist economy. But arguably even compared to the UK just 20 or 30 years ago when Thatcherism hadn’t yet become centrist consensus.
