Gmail spam 15:18 - Aug 21 with 1197 views | chicoazul | Do many TWTDers use gmail and if so have you, like me, suddenly started getting tons of spam whilst emails that are important go to the spam inbox? I enjoy a Nigerian scammer as much as the next man but it’s gone nuts the last couple months.

Gmail spam on 16:12 - Aug 21 with 1053 views | GeoffSentence | I use GMail, no problems with important emails being routed to spam, no problems with spam turning up in the inbox. My only gripe is that there have been a lot fewer offers of sex from random women in my spam recently, which is a shame, those emails give me a lift after a hard day at work.

Gmail spam on 18:07 - Aug 21 with 961 views | Ryorry | I have exactly the opposite problem Gmail (my secondary acct. which I opened c. 2009) very rarely attracts spam, though I use it almost daily. My hotmail.com acct. (my primary email which I've been using daily since about 1995) has been getting steadily worse for the past year - something like approx 100 spam emails daily, 75% of which are phishing. I had to get a 'front cover' (false email address which hides the real one) because I had over 140 reports in a month of people all over the world from Thailand to the USA via Spain trying to hack my account - (notifications came via 2-step verification). Most of the spam is from casinos telling me of my "free spins" & "welcome package" - can get 10 identical ones of those in 2 minutes, tho I've never played online casinos in my life. Presumably at least one of 3 bookies that I used in the past for betting on horseracing had their database/s hacked. Hotmail seem completely incapable of doing anything about it.
