Politics almost feels boring at the moment 15:16 - Sep 13 with 858 viewsbluelagos

Given the Brexit years / Johnson and Truss premierships, not to mention the 2017/9 elections...

So wonder if it's time to spice things up a little? Or have we had enough of referendums for now?

I think we should allow the refendum but the terms should be changed. I don't see why Scots in England shouldn't get a vote apart from gerrymandering.

Indeed another year of the current nonsense.
I have zoned out completely from the Covid / Brexit years of being totally tuned in to all goings on.
No interest in what this current lot want to continue destroying.

Don’t worry if you’ve missed the Brexit years, you can hear all the same pie in the sky economic arguments (from politicians, not economists), and nationalistic jingoism all over again with SCEXIT.

Why leave one political and economic union, when you can leave two!

What criteria would you define a Scot for this vote ?

The same one for the football team, a grandparent is enough. Scots living abroad ?

It would then suggest that non Scots living in Scotland should not be allowed a vote.

Recent conversstions with two Scottish cousins would suggest it is a measure of wanting to be rid of inaction man and his incompetent failures, and a wish to to be part of the EU which Scots voted to remain in.

When asked, Independence seems to deliveron both those.
