consensus is they aren't happy with tonight, 50/50 on they've been terrible vs we've been good.

"There's a few who've been off it tonight, not helped by playing a better side."

"Ipswich will fade I think, their players wil get poached in January by crap PL teams and it'll unsettle them. They'll be top six by the end of the season, I reckon we will too."

"these are showing how it should be done
Fast slick passing and going forward"

Not much in it until the second goal IMO, we were slightly better. Since 2-0 it’s been very one-sided.

I seem to remember the same happened in reverse when we last played Hull at PR in November 2020.

Was that referring to the course of the season rather than this game?

It will definitely unsettle us when lower Premier League teams come and poach Edmundson and Harness and we have to rely on Burgess and Broadhead instead.

Team performance with a squad all capable of stepping up. Bodes very well.

It was the same last season wasn't it when we went on that mad run from Feb onwards. People just thought we had hit a lucky streak.

We are a good bloody side.

To a man the squad that has been put together here has come because they fit a type that both Ashton and mckenna wanted. They are also all better players than when they arrived. Can't see any leaving for 6 games at some doomed lower half premier club.
Also don't subscribe to all this bubble bursting stuff. Don't feel as if there is a bubble tbh. Just seems to be built up to this from the start.

The club is being run properly. Isn't it great!

Indeed OwlStalk we’re generally very dismissive of us (we know how that aged).

Some people get it though - Preston fan: “Ipswich having the ability to rest Omari Hutchison and Nathan Broadhead is scary.”
