Glad he didn’t stay with Southampton, and have the feeling a few other clubs in the Premier League wish they had put in an offer.

He’s a cracking player. He’s always been able to play at a higher level than S’ton, so I’m not sure why he stayed with them for so long.

Think it unsettled them for a few games when he went. He must have been a big character on an off the pitch..
Think him and probably Maddison have settled well at their clubs, And both look to be really good signings..

Him leaving can’t have helped them, but I reckon Russell Martin’s ‘philosophy’ and ‘process’ is having a bigger detrimental effect.

Very Surprised some "bigger" clubs weren't in for him.

Could have definitely done a job for Liverpool who were looking for midfielders.
