It has finally turned. We have started this week, but keeping it off still and boosting as needed a few hours 6-9 am/pm to bring the temp to around 18c. We have a lot of condendation problems so the dehumidëfier has been brought bsck out. |  | | |

That sounds very, very expensive - are you on mains gas, or ..?
Like others, I have a year round 'setback' (ie minimum) temperature - 14C for me - so the temp never drops below that. |

You've misinterpreted - setback is the *minimum* temp, so house doesn't drop below 14C at any time.
Whilst I do set my temp during most of the working day at that (as I'm usually working outside, but if I'm not I stick on a fleece or padded bodywarmer), in the evenings/nights it's 18C for a total of 9 hours (7pm-1am, and then 18C again 3-6am). [Post edited 17 Oct 2023 15:26]
