Due to heavy rain flooding the railway all lines are blocked. Disruption is expected until 17:00 20/10.

Train services via Rotherham Central will be cancelled.
Our advice to our customers:
Services at Rotherham will be unable to call from 08:30 until further notice.

Effect on service:
Train services are unable to call at Rotherham in both directions.
Services will divert and fail to call at Rotherham.
First services affected:
07:48 Leeds to Sheffield will not call at Rotherham.
Alternative travel suggestions:

London to Sheffield line is closed due to flooding between Derby & Chesterfield.
Rotherham Central unlikely to open again today; half-hourly replacement bus to / from Meadowhall.
Several roads currently flooded around Sheffield, particularly east side of Sheffield per local rag.
