Anyone been following the trial of the paedo policeman? 22:39 - Oct 25 with 908 viewsSwansea_Blue

Oh my life. What an evil, manipulative arsehole. I suspect (hope, as bad as that sounds) life in prison won’t go well for him.

Given he’s something like the 19th plod to be convicted of sexual crimes against minors in the last year, you have to wonder whether the police needs to improve its recruitment and probation processes.

Sexual predators look for careers where they have authority/trust and access to the vulnerable.

Where better than the police, with their blue code and omerta when it comes to protecting their own?

Wonder what nickname this piece of sh1t was given by his police colleagues?

This.

This why the police have to improve their vetting (though I realise its hard if someone hasn't been convicted). Roles like this, when one has a degree of power over the public, and certainly provides a veneer of responsibility will attract people that want to use it to their advantage.

"Are you a sexual deviant (Yes/No)?" on the application form should do it.
