Everyone makes the odd duff signing, who turns into a permanent sick note. The problem with a player returning from a long absence is that all the training & conditioning in the world won't get you ready for the extra bit of effort that you put into a competitive match so the risk is that other injuries then develop & the player never manages to become truly match fit again. Camara was a risky signing, given that he had already had adductor surgery at Plymouth, which as anyone knows is a complex area of the body. At least we haven't had many of these signings & he'll be gone on a free at the end of the season. |  |
