Yeah, there were strong echoes of what Hurst did to us. Bit of a dismantling job, some iffy signings, and a team that looks ok in patches but flatters to deceive and is poor at both ends of the pitch. He didn’t seem particularly happy down here either, right from the off. A really strange appointment and a step up too far for him. |  |

From the outside, Swansea look like a club struggling to adjust to being a Championship side with only an outside chance of promotion again. Whereas, they were able to build through a succession of managerial changes whilst keeping the same ethos on the way up not they seem to be cycling through managers looking for something that isn't there. |  |

It was just a strange appointment form the outset given what they want from a team/manager, he was the other end of the spectrum on football philosophy compared to the ownership. |  |
