Leeds win again.. 14:52 - Dec 9 with 4193 views | ChampionsofInnsbruck | Today’s a must win again. It’s going to be tough to maintain our spot with the two Premier League payoff teams breathing down our necks. It’s incredible that we’re where we are.
Leeds win again.. on 16:59 - Dec 9 with 914 views | ClareBlue | We won the must win again. At some stage we are going to have to accept that it is us that provide the tough games for the rest of them. Why do you think nobody else will drop points. It's actually us that don't drop points.
Leeds win again.. on 18:39 - Dec 9 with 796 views | Churchman | Good point for Norwich. You must be made up with that. Clean sheet, ship stabilised. What’s not to like? Today was never a ‘must win’. Nor is Watford, Norwich or Leeds. It never was or will be. Oh, and there’s nothing incredible about where we are. This team has the ability to tear opponents to bits for 10, 20, 30, 45 mins and sometimes longer. Not many teams in this division can do that. Today? Absolutely brilliant result. What a team.

Leeds win again.. on 16:23 - Dec 9 by Nthsuffolkblue | Plymouth did! Nodge and Southampton were consecutive seasons in 2010-11 and 11-12. Man City did it 99-00. EDIT: Which is 3 in the last 24 seasons or 1 in 8 on average. [Post edited 9 Dec 2023 16:26]

From memory, Norwich, Southampton and Manchester City all fell through the Championship after relegation from the Premier League, and bounced immediately back. Think Wolves were another. Rather than run a campaign like this after four years in League One and without parachute payments.

Nodge relegated from Prem 2004-5, in the Championship for 4 seasons before relegation to League 1 and then bounced back two divisions. Southampton also relegated 2004-5, in the Championship for 4 seasons and League 1 for 2 before bouncing back 2 divisions. Man City only spent 2 divisions in the second tier before relegation and bouncing straight back 2 divisions. They were then immediately relegated again from the Prem unlike the other two! So none of them fell straight through the Championship, although Man City nearly did.
