Ok....this is going to be controversial but... 17:26 - Dec 23 with 4613 viewsnorfsufblue

I think it may be time to take advantage of Christian Waltons obvious advantage in helping us to defend set pieces.... they are slowly becoming more of a problem and with Burgess going away soon I think we are going to need a dominant goalkeeper... Was had done little wrong over the season but again I am starting to sense a drop off of form/luck(moreso) so perhaps it might be a consideration on KMs mind.

I'm not trying to blame VH in anyway for today just looking at the practicalities of the coming month or so not necessarily the next game but maybe we should have an eye on getting him back in the team.

Sorry, its probably just me finding it hard to stomach a defeat .... I've got used to not having too!

Yes he did and he is a very good shot stopper but could he have come for the cross and caught it ? The main reason we have only conceded from 2 corners is that Burgess and to a lesser degree Wolf have stuck their head on most of the balls coming g into the box . I think Kieran went with Axel over Wolf is pace Leeds have a of it in their attack . Their Premier class attack destroyed our defence .

I don't think any keeper claims that cross tbh. It was an excellent corner. But we also have to think how many town goals would have been scored this season with Walton in goal compared to hladky when you think how many goals have started with him.

But also Walton shot stopping % has been quite low since he's been here. Hladky shot stopping % quite high.

I don't see this pace others see in axel. Maybe it's the speed of Leeds but he looked really slow.

a niche perspective

Yes with the keeper situation that is the choice to be made , I don't think there is much between then in shot stopping Hladky better at playing out and Walt adds confidence to the defence with his command of the box when we are under attack .So take your choice .

Bring Walton in would mean a drastic change of tactics as he's nowhere near as good as Hladky playing from the back. What I will say is as against Leeds we need a plan B, but that entails bringing in some different types than what we have.

Although Walt is not as good as Hladky with the ball at his feet agreed but we did it quite successfully last year. OK at a lower level but playing out from the back is every bit as much reliant on movement off the ball by our players its not just the keepers ability , difficult choice between our keepers glad its Kieran making it to be honest .
