I've tried a few sharpeners over the years, some of which have made a mess of blades, but a good wet stone is a winner. I've got one with a coarse side and a fine side - so the coarse side is good to get really knackered knives into shape, before finishing with the fine side. |  |

Just don't be too rough when you do it as it will chip blades, especially if your knives aren't anything fancy. Bit of patience and consistency when I do it seems to work fine. I'm sorry I can't help much. |  |
