We may be in a bit of an auction for him with Sunderland, which could push the price up a bit.


Depends if Gallagher wants to come here for a genuine promotion push with his mate Travis. If he's keen to come here and doesn't want to go to Sunderland, it won't be much of an auction at all with him also having only 6 months left on his deal.

What re-sale value does Morsy (or Luongo) have, but are probably the most valuable player(s) we have on our books. Not all the players have to fit the model.

Excellent point. Add in that he is reportedly on big wages then hopefully they will want to shift him on.

I wonder if the hold up is us trying to barter the price based on promotion and Blackburn unwilling to gamble on that based on recent results and Southampton's form!
