They sacked Neil Adams and got Alex Neil in and went on a mad run from February-ish onwards.
As for Derby, they blew it on the last day to finish 7th to let us into 6th. Edit, or 5th.

I was amazed we made the play-offs on that last day. We ballsed up ourselves at Blackburn but Derby did a Derby and we sneaked in. Boro fluffed their lines at home as well. If they had won, the Nodge play-off game wouldn't have happened. | |

Definitely happened, I remember hugging a random bloke in the Ewood Park concourse. Weird end to the season that, obviously happy we finished 6th but never felt like we would progress to the final let alone go up. |  |

I felt the same. Elation at times - Charlton away, Wolves and Watford at home, Boro at home, Brentford away... but didn't fancy us at all for a big chunk of the season.
I celebrated the Anderson goal at PR like a madman but the minute Norwich scored at CR and Berra was sent off it was game over. I couldn't get excited by the TS goal there, which I know sounds ridiculous, as just didn't think we were good enough to see it through.
I would love them in the play offs this year if that's where we end up. | | | |
