If Ladapo had been sold then the 9 would have been free to use so surely it should still be free despite being a loan as he won’t play for us again this season. | | | |

Not possible. Say Lapado got injured and Charlton terminate the loan. He's still a registered player and has been allocated that number. Until he's sold or permanently leaves, the League have him registered in our squad. |  |

Players can be deregistered in January too though can't they? Or is that only for the named pool of league squad players? |  | | |
