Party Political Broadcasts. Which is Best? on 20:43 - Feb 7 with 797 views | Wacko | As a piece of traditional advertising Labour's is much better. I'm very shocked and surprised Tories went down the route they took, and deep down I wish politics was much more about taking the time to explain things rather than playing on emotions. (but fck the Tories)

Party Political Broadcasts. Which is Best? on 21:19 - Feb 7 with 758 views | GlasgowBlue | The lack of replies to this thread suggests that the Tory broadcast was the better of the two. I won't vote for them next time around but I thought it was a good piece of no nonsense explaining. Something people can understand. I switched the Labour broadcast off after 3 minutes. I will be voting Labour but Starmer spent the first couple of minutes slagging off the party under the bloke he campaigned to put in as Prime Minister in 2019 and then went on about slashing immigration. Not meat on the bones in that broadcast imo and I can see why so many of our Labour supporting posters are a wee bit disilusioned..

I think the lack of replies suggests people can't be arsed to watch them which probably accurately reflects how engaged and inspired we are with our political process and choices.

I just went to watch the first one, saw I had to log in and couldn't be bothered - and I would say I am fairly engaged with politics generally!

One doesn't need to see it to know that every word of the tory one will be a lie.
