Harness the scapegoat again. Wasn’t great when he came on but I can think of two or three that did a lot worse than him today.
Would feel aggrieved if I was him with the reaction he receives from some of our fanbase.

"scapegoat" ffs. This is what I mean with people overrating him - he gets appraised like he's someone in a charity match.

Mr Harness if you're reading this I'm sorry I said you were largely at fault for the goal and also more generally made derogatory references to your ability as a footballer. The reason I said it is because it's true.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Please be quiet. You’re embarrassing yourself.

I think being able to take a ball under little pressure that you've just called for without standing and waiting for it shouldn't be beyond the remit of any Championship level player to be honest. Not really sure what about it 'isn't his game'.

But it's. It his game is it. We've seen time and again it's a weakness in his game. He should do better but as much as we want to play a certain way and understand our limitations. There is not point us saying any champ player should be able to do that because he's lost it in similar situations multiple times. Harness is good at plenty but not that.

I agree with you I don't blame Edmundson for it really. And it should never have gone in.

Think you'd file it under 'not being that good' rather than 'not his game' to be honest. 'Not his game' is lumping long balls up to a short striker. What happened today was a player not up to scratch making a bad mistake.

Must admit I questioned Hladky a couple of games ago and suggested a change. It's admirable that as a manager you don't throw a player out of the team for one mistake, but he's now made three or four in as many games. I also thought we needed another centre back. Both have been found out against West Brom.

Who would he drop Hladky for, though?

Walton's performances haven't come close to applying pressure.

This against Fulham was the worst Ipswich keeping display I can remember in a long time.

Against Wimbledon he was rooted to his line for multiple clipped crosses into the six-yard area, one of which resulted in a penalty.

Maidstone took both their goals brilliantly. On each occasion I don't believe he made the task harder with his positioning. The feeling that the opposition is scoring from every opportunity is one I remember well from last season too, during our difficult middle period.
