I guess it comes back to the fact that they purchased it with a view to eventually selling it on at a considerable profit.
I understand that a number of US service pensions are dependant on its success.
The last two seasons must have been the absolute peak of their forecasts for investment vs return.
I do wonder whether they’ll decide to cash a considerable portion of the investment pretty soon, or whether they’ll gently twist on another season of miracles.

Poll: September 2025. Which one?

With the £105m investment recently coming in, reducing their ownership to 60%, my bet is they'll stay put for a couple of years and depending on our success make a judgement call at the end of each season.

From memory he retained 5% at the time of purchase, but with the huge infrastructure investment that's been put in, plus the recent £105m investment, he'll have been hugely diluted.

But then, as the saying goes, it's better to have a small stake in something big than a big stake in something small.

I would imagine when the club is finally sold again or if he's allowed to cash in what he has at any point, he may well still make some money on his original 5%.

The pension pot is worth billions, we are only a small part of their investments, they are not relying on our success for the servicemans pensions that would be insane. We are part of the riskier profile, they like all pension pots will have investments in much safer investments aswell.
They have already cashed in by welcoming a large investment last year, so will not leave yet.

They could take out 20m each season we're in the Premier.

Absolutely, they could and at some point for sure they will take money out.

The club have stated on a number of occasions that the owners have not taken a single penny out to date, but with Prem money coming in, as long as it doesn't affect our infrastructure improvements or player acquisitions, they'll make withdrawals possibly once (and if) we establish ourselves.

In a minor way the path has already been paved with the letter to shareholders saying that any dividends voted to the Plc will all go to Gamechanger and not the other individual shareholders.

Evans has more shares than the 3 lions put together.

They could, but I see them investing in the infrastructure and growing the club first. If they were going to slice cash out, I’d have thought they’d have taken a chunk of the £105m investment last year. The value of the club is unrecognisable from April 2021 and I suspect they are planning on it being even more so when they sell the club on.
