I’ve never been, would love to.

Anyway, I see people arriving on like the Wednesday, can you leave site to restock on beers/food?
Often wonder as some people go walking in with hardly anything on them.

We’ll be good again... one day

Jacqui Abbott has suffered from poor health over the past couple of years. Saw Heaton and Abbott in 2015 and they were brilliant.

Heaton has a fantastic back catalogue.

Before the Housemartins were discovered, they used to do gigs with my cousin’s band in Hull and the wider Yorkshire area, and would share vans etc.

One night an A&R bod happened to be at Housemartins gig and they never looked back.

He's doing Happy Hour with Norman Cook and I've got a tear in my eye.

We are old men.

I knew him a bit in Hull, one of my friends lived with Nick Swift, who wrote their book. What was your cousin's band?

Started life as Savannah St Stompers, then morphed into Tough Guys Don’t Dance.

What's this pyramid stage everyone keeps going on about?

Don't recall either of those names so I suspect they weren't going by the time I moved up there.

When my cousin left Hull Uni in 1986 (or 7), he moved to Nottingham with his girlfriend / now wife of 36 years, so you probably missed him by a couple of years.

I think the pyramid stage is between denial and acceptance, it's when you try and make yourself feel better by getting involved in a Ponzi scheme...
