Don't think so. I think they were entrepreneurs. They'd ask things like "Are you looking for business?", but quickly lost interest when I would explain I was already in full time employment as a software developer but I'd be happy to take their business card and pass onto any contacts. Not sure what kind of business they were in exactly.

Did any of them ever retort, "I'll take your software, duckie, and develop you some hardware"?

If not, they must be kicking themselves for missing that open goal.

You used to see ladies dressed like that hanging around Portman Rd quite often. Good to see them back. They were always very chatty and friendly as i recall.

Had one ask me if I wanted s good time for £20. Didn't see the funny side when I said could have a reasonable time for a tenner
