That end of season chat with Ashton about having the targets lined up etc. This week has been all action just as the new accounting period rolls round. The planning has clearly been there for some time. The PL is a brave new world but this is a confident start from town.

Would love to see the gk situation settled in the next couple of weeks. Key to the mckenna identity probably important they bed in early

Notwithstanding my flounce from a week or so ago, I'm quite relaxed by this.

On track record, Ashton will rock up with someone we hadn't been linked with, hadn't been tracking and they'll be fcking brilliant.

Well he looks more than a little useful going by this. Great technique and excellent upper body strength in the ball. A bag of tricks this kid is exciting. Hopefully we can get both Hull players .

Would be some statement of intent to sign 3 players for circa £50m quid!

Interesting that so far we’re being linked with players who were the best of the Championship rather than players with prem experience. Got to be a bit of a gamble to build a team of up and coming rather than oven ready players. But if anyone can pull it off it’s super Keiren McKenna!

I’m slightly reminded of Hansen comment ‘You can’t win anything with kids’! How wrong he was!

A full preseason will get them into shape. The sooner they're in the door the better.
