In an ideal world we’re coming away with Fotis, SS, Clarke and one of the prem CM’s on loan (plus another on perm ideally), but realistically that’s another £60m+ spent.

I look at that list and all of the players would improve us wouldn’t they. Odobert for me but that’s nit picking.

I would say Skipp or Hamer then Alzate as a cheaper squad player
Szmodics seems nearly done so him
Ioannidis seems like the striker we've been most keen on and with Hirst's injury it has to be a priority
If there's any budget left then Clarke but there hasn't been too many rumours about him so perhaps we're not that keen

I thought we had already met Panathinaikos valuation for Fotis, but it was more a case that the player was dead set on Sporting. I just hope we make sure he knows that we beat Southampton twice last season. What I love about Fotis is his ability to play either CF or left no 10.
Chelsea have such a bloated squad, and with the experience with Omari last season, I fully expect us to take a young player on loan - my guess is Renato Veiga who they signed from FC Basel a couple of weeks back. He's not gonna get any game time at Chelsea, and would be a great addition for us, a really dynamic box to box defensive midfielder who would learn so much from skip and Mass.
