We've got Liverpool on Saturday... 09:31 - Aug 14 with 1387 views_clive_baker_

At home, in the Premier League. Just in case you've all forgotten.

In front of 30,000 at Portman Road. Liverpool averaged a global TV audience of 12,000,000 per premier league game last season. 12m! Can probably adjust that down a bit as we're not a big fish or rival, can probably adjust it up as its the opening day and a kick off time that works nicely for US, China and Aus as well as being on BT Sport for UK viewers.

Mad to think there will be c. 12m people watching Luke Woolfenden bullet a header past Alisson. COYB.

What a different 6-years makes! I remember the doom and gloom and the constant chitter chatter that we should be thankful for the £6m ME invested and was prepared to lose each year. The fear that we'd plummet into obscurity and that a step backward wasn't logical. How thankful we all should be that those days are well and truly gone.

Problem now is trying to get a ticket to see a game not whether to leave a game after 20 minutes!

Deciding on the day to jump in the car and travel to watch Town away with no issues about getting a ticket. Paying about £20 for it too. 800 Town fans there alongside you in the cold. TWTD.

We're big time now.

Also just a reminder, McKenna has never lost two league games in a row as Ipswich manager.

Therefore we are basically guaranteed a minimum of a point against Liverpool and/or Citeh.

Food for thought.

Yeah I just drove past Portman Road and the day-dreaming has started.

Unfortunately a few snippets of an absolute hammering in those dreams, but I'll cling on to the ones where we win.

I reckon I've had 5 or 6 dreams about the Liverpool game since the fixtures were announced. Mostly absolute drubbings.

We've not lost the first game of the season since 2013 I don't think, that was at Reading.
