I’ve waited over 20 years to see my team walk out in the Premier League, a moment I’ve dreamed of for so long. But that moment was taken away from me. You’ve created your own special section to set yourselves apart from the rest of the club, and then put together a display that blocked the view of thousands of other fans, robbing them of seeing their team’s return to the Premier League.

This isn’t what being an Ipswich fan is about. It feels like you’re more focused on making a statement than being part of the club’s journey. It’s disappointing and disrespectful to the rest of us who just wanted to share in this special moment.

Stop being so self centred and selfish and think of other fans. I’ve spoken to many many people this afternoon and you are the only sour part of an otherwise great day.

"Whole different circumstance. Celtic play Rangers every season "

All look incredible and would absolutely support them doing this in the future.

Saturday was an extremely unique scenario though which is where the frustration is coming from.

"Whole different circumstance. Celtic play Rangers every season "

Were any of these on the first day of a new season for the respective clubs celebrating over 20 years in the wilderness, of having to suffer the lowest of lows and having barely anything to cheer about?

....they'll accept it wasn't ideal, state that, and move on.

As it should be.

They've been much more quiet on it than I'd expected - fan base seems pretty divided on this one so maybe keeping powder dry.

It was pulled back in disgust by many fans across the north stand who have followed the team for years, fans who did not get to see their team walk out in the premier league. It does not matter what it looks like ‘ON TV’. It was a special moment robbed by others in a different stand.

By all means do a display but let’s think about it properly and add to the occasion rather than cover it.

When they walk out at the next home game. It'll look exactly the same way as it did in the first game. So you're not missing out you'll see it.
And the game after that. And the one after that.

I understand when people moan about missing game action because of a flag or something but not seeing people walk out onto a pitch when it's done the same way every game.. ding ding ding. Music. Walk out.

Afraid you’re missing the point which many people have made - it wasn’t a normal ‘walkout’. It was Ipswich Town walking out in the Premier League for the first time in 20+ years which many people never thought we’d even get to see!

Clearly BA noted the occasion hence the banner…

I sit in the Pioneer, or whatever it’s called now.

The Blue Action banner looked pretty cool but got pulled further and further back.

That said, it was only on display for a few minutes.

Now then… obviously from my location I could see the team walk out and WOWZERS!!! You guys who were behind the banner for a few hundred seconds really missed something. The Ipswich players, the Liverpool players, officials, mascots and assorted media types took a dignified walk to the halfway line. Handshakes were made, formalities undertaken and positions adopted. I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET IT.

Blue Action have been a major part in the development of the club over the last few years, they might not always get it right but their heart is in the right place,, couldn’t see the team? Grow up,get over it!
