At least we're not out of it... 15:56 - Aug 24 with 874 viewstonybied

...and probably should've been more in it considering we should've been awarded a penalty.

I thought VAR was going to mean we would get given penalties for obvious, missed fouls but alas, it seems the bigger teams still get given an unfair advantage.

The penalty was annoying. Personally I think both would be soft but they're either both given or neither are. If you have to watch 400 replays then I would suggest its not clear and / or obvious.

I'd wager they didn't look at ours more than twice!

Aside for the 5 mins of madness we've done OK, it was always going to super difficult.

Second half go again and try to cut out the mistakes.

I agree, not been awful. I think we need to bring Cajuste on though.

And probably didn't look at the angle which clearly shows the attempt to dead-leg Davis.

Would be nice to get 30 minutes into him. Longer term Luongo isn't going to be much of a feature this season IMO, so its a good opportunity to get Cajuste on.

Its the Prems implementation of VAR I think, thats why its annoying because you lose the consistency, Im sure if would have been given in any other league who use it

We're not still in it, but apart from that crazy period with the goals we have done OK. Maybe we'll get one back, but I imagine City probably still have at least another goal or two in them today.

I've always said each team should get 1 challenge per half. You keep your challenge if its successful. VAR should be reactive rather than getting involved in everything it fancies but seemingly to different degrees.

I don't think that would've changed anything as it was reviewed anyway.
