I do think McKenna is giving the players that git us ba k to back promotions their chance yo stake their claim at PL.
We're now playing THE best team / squad in Europe and ok we're losing but wevd gutted them those goals let's be honest.
But going forward, I think Town will settle down at this level. But it wont be with a lot of the players out there today. This is basically our League One team out there. |  |

I don't agree with it being a League One team, obviously. Because it isn't. Some players on the pitch played there, but then also were good enough to win promotion from two divisions.
Honestly if we'd started a bit shakily against some bottom half teams and then, say, had Liverpool and City back to back in October I'd be way more bothered than I am right now. |  | | |

When Town got promoted, from League One to the Championship, I think only 2 maybe 3 of that team had played at Championship level before? The same team gets promoted to the PL the next season, do that to me is a League One experienced team/ squad.
That observation is NOT intended to be a slight on our players. If anything it’s the other way. Our players have been magnificent since McKenna has come in and improved every one of them….

I genuinely don't think McKenna will have a strongest side as such, he keeps talking about how critical the squad is in the PL. I think he will rotate the starting 11 around a lot. He constantly talks about how the subs bench has to be match ready. You cannot expect players to constantly be on the bench and come on after 60, 70 mins and influence a game if they don't start some games. That might work in L1 and Championship, but not PL.
Yes he'll have a core backbone ie GK, one in CM, and probably Leif. But the rest I think you'll see rotation. |  | | |
