Really do feel for Burgess, who has been so important for us, that he was dropped straight away but even he is probably watching Greaves and going 'Yeah, fair enough'.
How we got him for just £15m we'll never know. |
I just wonder.... some years ago, Hull had a really highly-rated CB, Harry Maguire. He got his big move to ManU, played many times for England, but arguably has never quite fulfilled his promise or justified his fee & wages. So, did top clubs fear similar with Greaves? Or, maybe, KMac is just so good at improving players...
FWIW, I think he has another big step of improvement in him as he gets used to the league, develops a partnership with his RCB and continues to build strength & condition. |  |
