I think that's been under discussion since the end of last year. If I were his people I would have waited until the summer to see what division we were in before making any decisions, so assume things have been talked about over the last few months.

He has been so good this season. Almost like the player from last season is different to this seasons one.

Mind you I think it suits him being in a battle. Last season there was much more emphasis on his attacking play, this season is opposite.
