Phil, went to Spiders last night. Was awesome! Just like I remember it, full of goths. Drinks were dirt cheap too. Whatever round we got seemed to come to 4 quid. Beer and a short - 4 quid. 2 beers - 4 quid. 2 shorts - 4 quid!
Also had a mooch around Newland Ave. Pretty much the same, loads of cool shops, diverse food places. Piper club is still there too. My sons accommodation is really nice too. They took over the old Humberside campus and have built new accommodation there. Really nice flats. Got his own en suite bathroom! |  |
