I thought the ref was really poor today. 32 free kicks (avg of 20.9 in the PL/game) in a game that wasn't dirty in the slightest really, just seemed to blow up for everything.

Which was made even weirder when he let 3/4 challenges from both sides go that then went onto lead to the mini 'brawl' of handbags at dawn.

They were so clearly play acting. Best example was late in the 2nd half not far from the away fans when one their players goes down clutching his ankle and rolling around. Then when he realises there’s no foul been given and we’re on the attack, he gets up and sprints down the touchline. If the authorities can retroactively send people off etc; then they can do something about this obvious feigning an injury.

Davis often pulls one out whenever he gets pick pocketed.

I thiught the referee was annoyingly bad, inconsistent and lost the players from quite early on. Hard for me to really judge having got more used to watching it on TV these days and wondered if being there without the benefit of getting perfect angles and replays coloured that judgement, but thought he was terrible.

	No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
