I'm still confident we'll avoid relegation but it will be tight, it was always going to be tight.
Disappointed because in the Prem you need to take advantage when teams are struggling, and West Ham have been struggling at home. Travelling on the DLR chatting with some WH fans, they were clearly apprehensive given their home form this season. But ultimately it was an easy game for them.
None of the Town players came out of it with credit, all failed with basic errors, which I find strange. Yes you'll have games with some players off form, but the entire team looked off form. Is the lack of a win starting to get to them.
One area I find concerning is our lack of creativity in the final 3rd. Yes the defence will get the criticism tonight, but in these types of games we're creating few chances and that will ultimately put pressure on the defence. Clarke, Hutch, Burns never really did anything different, basically trying the same thing every time with the same 'failed' result. Broadhead has that ability to try a different ball, open a team up with a completely different direction ball, time to give him a game especially in away games.

You'd got two inverted wingers. Very good goal scoring ones. One isn't getting anywhere near the goal
The other isn't even playing as one.
We've got a 28 goal 10 playing as a wideman when he gets a chance.. why?
I've been comfortable We've how we've tried to compete on a certain level but we aren't going to compete well enough if we can't or won't even play our players at the right way to get the most out of them. | |

I said in summer it looks like we're signing a championship super squad. Which unfortunately means we get championship performances.

Agree with most of that, except that Delap should be given credit, for the goal, obviously, and the only player to give them problems for a good portion of the game until he tired.
Probably stating the obvious, but if we had gone ahead instead of conceeding that very early goal, I think it would have been a very different result. |  |

Honestly it feels like we only signed hutch perm as we promised him he'd play as a 10. I don't understand why we keep doing it. He's not had 1 really promising performance in that role this season imo. | |

Wow, I posted something similar a few weeks back and got downvotes.
It is clear that we have too many players and there is not necessarily an obvious solution.
For example Burns/Ogbene/Hutchinson on right Hutch is not a central player in my opinion.
I think certianly away from home we need to change formation as we leak goals and do not create enough and very poor from midfield to front.
