Seeing a post that mentions that rather average sweet Werthers, made me consider the above.
Maynard’s WGs are the best. Much better than M&S or other own brands. Things of beauty. Any disagreement? Is there a better sweet, especially for the flight.
Then there’s Midget Gems or WGs. I was always a big fan of the MG until a particularly resilient one took out a chunk of back molar on the M1 at Newport Pagnall. So it was back to WGs as a tooth safe option.

Lion's Midget Gems are the daddy of Midget Gems. Maynards Wine Gums the top dog of Wine Gums although I prefer nowadays Haribo ones.
