Starting to care less and less about the Premier League 06:44 - Oct 14 with 15213 viewsAsa

On Saturday we'll be one game out from November and it'll be our 4th home game of the season. 4th!!!

Say what you want for League One but with 46 games, the League Cup, the Pizza Cup and even the FA Cup about to start the games came thick and fast.

Not far off either in the Championship. All those Portman Road matches under the lights.

Of course I want us at the top level. The post is slightly in jest. But the fixture scheduling this season is something else!

Came back from a cruise yesterday and travelled across London in a taxi. The driver was a geezer, nice chap, very chatty, a Millwall fan. We have maybe had experiences of going to the old Den (1978 comes to mind particularly). Anyway he's not a fan of Sadiq Khan to put it mildly. But his take on the Premier League seemed spot on where he said many ordinary players were extremely overpaid and that there was too much of the prawn sandwich brigade involved. I do question how any team can build success on the pitch with this stop start season. Money has been spent on many parts of the stadium for which we are grateful. It has to be better than the ME era. Let's face it, anything is. But the land of milk and honey the Premier League isn't. Full ground every week is great, but some genuine fans are missing out because of absurd rules where stadiums holding 50 or 60,000 don't have to give as many tickets to away fans as those like PR at 30,000. VAR is rubbish, match times dictated by SKY and other football channels.

Most fans warm to the Premier League when their teams start winning. I'm sure we will too.
