"Black music". So is that Dr Dre, but only the ones without Eminem? Does Afrika Bambaataa qualify as long it is not one produced by Arthur Baker? Is Shellshock by New Order "Black Music"?
I respectfully disagree with defining music like this.
It's a celebration of black music and its influence, so yeah I'd say all of those songs could be included. In fact I'm going to link this classic:

This song was written as a positive response to the release of a cover version of Junior Murvin's "Police and Thieves" by the Clash.
"The Wailers will be there, the Damned, the Jam, the Clash – Maytals will be there, Dr. Feelgood too". Marley also often repeated the words "new wave, you brave" during the song.

Can I have this, unless it's seen these days as cultural appropriation? Reason being that my first big overseas trip was to Kenya in 1987 and Paul Simon was everywhere on the airwaves. That trip fired a love of travel and experiencing other cultures both in Africa and other continents around the world. TWTD.

That whole album is problematic given the cultural boycott of South Africa that was meant to be in place at the time, and the disputed writing credit for the Los Lobos song.
However, it opened my ears to a whole load of music I knew nothing about and it clearly affected you deeply too, so who is anyone to tell you not to post it?
