Swindon don't half get through some managers. Like a lower division Watford. Didn't McGreal take over a couple of pre-seasons ago but leave before the season started?

Kennedy was sacked from Lincoln around this time last year and has managed only 20 games across two jobs.

Yes he was, in his autobiography he writes that he was very keen to get the job and was interviewed for it. When Magic got the job, he asked Sheepshanks what counted against him in the interview so he could learn moving forward. Sheepshanks said he'd impressed them highly but he had concentrated too much on what he'd achieved so far in his career and not enough on what he knew of Town and its playing squad etc. Met Ollie couple of years back in the directors box (birthday treat from my daughter) when we played Plymouth.Absolute gentleman. His book I'd highly recommend, 'Ollie', its funny, inciteful and shows what a very decent man he is. I wish him well at Swindon.
