Even more angry than I was leaving the ground. It’s a penalty all day long and a nothing 50/50 from Philips that shouldn’t have have happened had the ref done his job. I hate the “premier league”

Clear penalty and never a foul let alone a sending off.

It is a shame VAR are not allowed to get involved in either decision. Although I am unsure why it can't on the penalty at least!

It can and decided not to. For reasons which are at best opaque.

I was right behind the goal so saw it clearly as it happened. Oh, the refs not given it, I thought - don't worry, that's an easy one for VAR to look at and overturn.

Had it been for City or Arsenal, it gets given. That's the frustration.

I was hoping watching MOTD and seeing all the angles would make me feel better than I did leaving the ground this afternoon, but I'm thoroughly fooked off with that.

Isn't the point of VAR that obviously bad decisions on which games can hinge like this shouldn't be allowed to occur anymore?
