Attendance today. 18:26 - Nov 10 with 2154 viewsSuffPunch

Was today's attendance the highest We've ever played in front of for a league game? Must be close.

Man U at old Trafford in 2001/02 was 67,551 - today may be the biggest attendance for a league game we’ve won though?

I was wondering what those who went thought of the stadium. It looks awesome, but what’s it like to watch a match? The Emirates is a fine looking stadium too, but it’s a morgue in the home ends.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Nice, but my seat was too low and it was a long way to the toilets....

Cheers and thanks also to Billm and Meadowlark. It sounds like they need to work on their distance toilets, but otherwise good! It looks like an incredible stadium, especially with that single tier home end. You just never know how the home fans will respond though. As I said, I’ve always been hugely unimpressed with Arsenal fans despite the Emirates being an impressive ground. But that’s not a patch on how crap West Ham is despite being in a very expensive bowl, but that layout doesn’t work for me (or anyone who goes there apparently).

You have to go a long way to beat Liverpool imo. We’ll be a step in that direction once we get a new, expanded Cobbold stand. We could end up with something pretty rare and special if we redevelop and stay in this league so we fill out the capacity. There aren’t that many traditional stadia left.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I thought Spurs fans were very quiet for at least 85% of the game , it’s the Town fans that made any sort of atmosphere.

Best of the new grounds imo... I like the fact that inside it is not just dull concrete which I think most appear to be apart from impressive fascias..think it has been properly designed to keep the huge stands on a high rake to keep them reasonably close to the pitch.... Portman Road still the mutts nuts though!

I was in their 17k stand behind the goal, there was no atmosphere except for 5 minutes after they scored, most were resigned to loosing after we went 1up, strange.

“and Chaplin makes it 5-0, know one dreamt of this last night….”
