I have Star Wars questions on 15:50 - Dec 9 by Keno
I saw a comment from one of the 'old TNG' cast (might have been Johnathon Franks) to the effect that The Orville was the series the Star Trek franchise should have made rather than some of the ones they did
He isnt wrong!
Reminds me of a clip from Patrick Stewart talking about his first time seeing Red Dwarf:

For the crusties who remember it, when Star Wars came out in 1977, I saw it at the cinema and the reaction of the audience coming out, me included, was one of amazement. Nobody had seen anything quite like it.
For its time, a fantastic film. I watched it yesterday to expunge the memory of a football match and it’s stood the rest of time reasonably well. Dialogue is a bit rubbish, effects dated, but it still has style, charm, humour and a happy ending. I enjoyed it.
Of the first three, Episode 4 Star Wars A Bob Hope (thought I’d upgrade the title) is the best, closely followed by the third (I liked the Ewoks). Empire Strikes back felt a bit of a ‘filler’ but it was enjoyable. None of the prequels or others come close. Not seen Rogue One, but I see it’s on ITVx so I’ll give it a go.
