Anyone think any of this trio is worth a punt - or should we stick Szmodics up front?
Taiwo Awoniyi. Hasn't been getting a lot of game time at Forest for a number of reasons. Had injury probs in past and has lost No9 shirt to Chris Wood. 6ft tall. Big and strong. Possibly the best fit in terms of a Liam Delap replacement.
Colby Bishop. Fit again following heart surgery. Decent scoring record. Although is he too similar to Sammie Szmodics? Apparently we've been in for him before. A big gamble and, at 28, may not fit profile of McKenna targets.
Emmanuel Latte Lath. We all know about him, having been in discussions about signing him. Still young at 25. Good scoring record at Champo level. As with Bishop, however, is he the 'right' type of striker we need right now?
Foreign player? I wouldn't know where to start. Is there any team happy to get rid of a top asset in January?
If we do use Szmodics as a striker, that would give Broadhead/Clarke a chance on the left. Delap desperately needs a rest. Alternatively, stick Burgess up top and bring Greaves into the team! Our wizard from Oz can do no wrong. If Micky Stockwell can score goals as a striker, so can Cam! |  | | |  |

My understanding is that Bishop is a very different player to Szmodics. A lot more physical, holds it up and brings others into play. Perhaps in the Champ but not here.

I do think we might be in for the luton striker. Seems to fit the profile well and could well be up for moving more than some of the others linked in the summer due to how their current clubs are performing |  |
