O'Neil very condescending towards us in his post match interview! 21:22 - Dec 14 with 4595 views | tonybied | He thought they were better than us and we did nothing other than score 2 poor goals. Other than a 10 minute spell after wolves equalized I thought we were the better team. He's not going to help himself if he buries his head in the sand and ignores what's going on in front of his eyes.
O'Neil very condescending towards us in his post match interview! on 10:42 - Dec 15 with 446 views | OldFart71 | As we have seen endless times this season it's not how well you play it's whether you take your chances. They missed to or three sitters, we missed one. Teams like Liverpool create many chances therefore the odds of them sticking one or two in the net are much higher than ours. Recently I have seen Salah miss some decent chances, then score some impossible looking goals and maybe scored two out of five or six chances. You can't say that about many Town players. That's not a criticism just a stat as to the number of chances. So we have to be better at taking the few that come our way than some of the top clubs.

O'Neil very condescending towards us in his post match interview! on 00:17 - Dec 15 by Cafe_Newman | He certainly is a dead man walking. For over an hour he was doing his despondent rat face that he does: |
Some Wolves fans are saying that they tried to find another manager but couldn't, which is why they've stuck with him. That would be fairly weird. You'd think someone would want a crack at it.

O'Neil very condescending towards us in his post match interview! on 10:41 - Dec 15 by Pique | Fair enough - you obviously have a higher opinion of him than I do. I would argue that the squad he inherited, though weakened, is far stronger than ours on paper, and all I ever seem to hear from the guy is sulky excuses. He gives off proper Lambert vibes to me (although obviously he isn't that bad!), but each to their own. To be honest, I hope his career at Wolves lasts as long as possible, so the best of luck to him! |
Their squad may be stronger on paper, but McKenna will have the feeling that Town are generally moving in the right direction, squad-wise. I'm sure McKenna would have something to say (in private at first, but later in public) if the 'crown jewels' were repeatedly sold and replaced with cheaper, inferior versions. I'm only saying that if, say, McKenna suddenly left, and Pert replaced him and kept Town up, was replaced, then moved to say Palace, did OK, and then had all his best players sold and not replaced, would you say the same about him?
