Hi everyone! We are a family from the USA and going to London for the first time on Thursday (it’s a surprise present for our two sons, ages 12 and 9). Our oldest son is a huge Ipswich fan, and by association, our whole family gets into it.
Is there an ITFC friendly bar/pub in London that we could watch the Arsenal game at?
For the Chelsea game, we’re contemplating taking the train from London to Ipswich and watching the game there (?). We don’t have tickets, but again, looking for a cool environment with other fans to watch the game.
Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks for any help!

We’re staying near Regents Park, but will try to be out and about exploring as much as possible. Thanks for the hint on the trains. Would be interested in heading up there, assuming there would be a place to watch the match that would be fun (and welcoming of 12 and 9 year old football addicts). | | | |

I've never been to watch ITFC at any of the London bars etc...but do know that there is a Greater London Supporters Branch for the club. Easy to find on FB.

The Chelsea game isn't being broadcast so you won't be able to watch it anywhere. It is worth keeping an eye out on the club site for any ticket returns from Friday onwards. I doubt you would be lucky enough to get 4 but you might be able to get a couple together. |  | | |

The Chelsea game isn't being broadcast so you won't be able to watch it anywhere. It is worth keeping an eye out on the club site for any ticket returns from Friday onwards. I doubt you would be lucky enough to get 4 but you might be able to get a couple together. |

We have already sent our tickets back to the club for the Chelsea game. Get membership and apply for them at 10am on the Thursday before, I think . Check that.

I live very close to Regents Park.
For the Arsenal game, I would advise going into Camden as it's a 25 minute walk from Regents Park.
Try The Lyttleton Arms opposite Mornington Crescent station or The Sheephaven Bay on Mornington Street just round the corner. The Shepphaven is a proper old pub which loves it's football. Both will have the games on and majority of fans will be Arsenal. |  |

You could try here
Very near Regents Park, will be more neutral than most places, obviously expect to see more Arsenal, but you could book a table and get some food in pre-match with the family. You would need to check but I think better for a 9yr old and 12 yr old to be allowed in than a pub On your doorstep. Likely to be on the pricier side but this is central London.
