1. Another encouraging performance. McKenna was criticised for tactical inflexibility, but we've gone to a back 5 & look far more solid.
2. Walton makes me feel much more secure than Muric & I suspect the defence feel the same way.
3. Fulham players loved surrounding the referee & maybe they got their way, with 5 bookings for Town & 1 for Fulham, although the foul count was only 14-10. However, at least the ref didn't send off Davis & we did get our penalty.
4. Delap is a beast & it's good to have a confident penalty taker. His fitness looks essential if we are to survive.

The criticism of McKenna at the time failed to account for the fact that with the injuries we were carrying for large parts of the season limited how much he could change the side.

On your point 3, if Harry Wilson is not banned for the way he approached the referee after the foul for the penalty was not given instantly, there is something very wrong…

Yep, it was pretty obvious he called the ref a ‘f…..ng cheat’.

Which begs the question why the ref didn’t have the stones to send him off for that immediately - surely that is in his powers? They should still get the pen, but he needed to red card Wilson

I’d ask for him to be retroactively banned but as we’ve played them twice I say let it slide and let him punish our rivals.

Delap is a proper penalty taker. Jiminez actually stopped during his run-up for their second penalty.

Yea we thought the same. He stopped for a brief moment but a good pen Infairness.

6. Jack Clarke can find space against a tiring defence and now has the confidence to shoot (with venom) from distance.
