If it wasn't for Gamechanger we could have been playing them in the League tomorrow with not too dissimilar players. Instead we could be debuting a £21m club record signing instead of a punt we've picked up from Bromley.

If it wasn’t for Gamechanger we’d probably be midway through our first League 2 campaign.

I still have Charlton-esque nightmares about this game. Good limbs in the away end, a debut goal from Marcus Stewart and a bit of Devon bloody White. I can't say I came away from Twerton that day thinking I'd be on the pitch at Oxford a few months later.

There was a couple sat behind me who grumbled and moaned throughout the whole game, running all of our players down and suggsting McKenna was useless.

Almost as depressing as the result, which made me think we'd blown our chances of automatic promotion.

Was an awful night.

Sat freezing under that gazebo listening to people slagging off our players whilst Bristol Rovers looked the more threatening.

Absolute mad that was less than 2 years ago and we're now linked with a current Brazil striker.
