Bournemouth showing how well we played against them 14:28 - Jan 18 with 1305 viewsbournemouthblue

we were unlucky really not to get anything out of the Bournemouth game but given the demolition Newcastle did on us, they have dominated Newcastle today, wowzas!

incredible performance, especially when you see their bench, also playing without an out-and-out number 9 as well. Shows what can be done with good technical players and a system.

Can't believe Leicester beat them

Semenyo looks a cracking find, we really need a scouting setup likes theirs

He came from Bristol City. Imagine we would have signed him if we had been in the Prem at the time they got him.

He must have been useful in the Championship, he's probably their best player in most games I have seen

Bournemouth have foreign players with flair. Brilliant technical ability and big and strong. Mckenna just wants home grown players.,with just some of the above and who he wants to coach to his own way of playing..and thats what will cost us as a club who wants to go forward and build.

The reality is, we don't have a developed overseas scouting network like Bournemouth, Brentford or Brighton will have currently

So we have gone for home grown, home grown also has a premium on it for resale so it may still prove a canny move in the long run

Bournemouth were off their game and we were unable to take advantage, simply because their strength from the bench swung the match. It was gutting.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Are we saying Hutchinson, Philogene, Delap don't have technical ability and flair?

Its not an exact science to scout for foreign players. .you need only one or two people to watch matches in the foreign leagues and in this day and age .that can be done from your home..and If you see players that stand out week in week out. You need only make more inquiries about them and availability. It's not rocket science. And as regards home players having good resale value .only if we want to become a selling Club, what's the point in that so.only if you happy with seeing your club just surviving each season.

I don’t think you like us very much. It’s the only reason I can find for your negativity.

So are you saying Bournemouth players ignore how Iraola wants them to play? As I'm sure Iraola gets players "who he wants to coach to his own way of playing".

Although I must admit Justin Kluivert is a cracking player, but then again so was his granddad.

Iraola is a better coach than our inexperienced and still learning one.

Veni Vidi Participatur. Now we can get back to competing.
