A lot of clubs were interested in him last season when we bought him. There is obviously a lot of potential there.
His fitness issues haven't helped but being thrown into Premier League games has been his biggest downfall. Had we secured another striker in the window he's have been loaned out to a Championship club as part of his development.
I can't help feel that we have failed him in that respect. |
Even more shameful that the poor lad has been vilified by a certain section of the fans for not suddenly stepping up to premier league standard. |  |

Loan move works for me.
If we drop back down, he could be important for us next season, so it's good for him to get regular game time in the Championship. His goals per minutes played stat for us last season was pretty good.
If we stay up, we've probably seen the last of him here. |  |
