I think he did a decent job for us in the Championship, and he can never be accused of not giving 100%!!
I think its right for him to move on..... but STOKE? They just seem to be a dump of a club where no one really progresses.
I hope someone like Boro come in for him, or Mogga renews his interest. Would like to see him do well (and provide more potential add ons to his fee!). |  |

Worst case scenario he doesn’t pull up any trees and we try to find a better club for him in the summer.
Best case he does well and we’ve a player we can make a profit on in the summer or if we’re back in the Championship we have a striker who’s got his confidence back and can play a part in a promotion push. |  |

Stoke really do seem like a club where managers and players go to die*, don't they.
They've spaffed a fair few quid in recent years, and only got worse as a result.

Probably a decent move for him to be fair. Hour or so from Liverpool where he's from, hopefully gets to play plenty of Championship football. My instinct was that he was escaping the pressure of a relegation scrap but looking at the Championship table I don't think that's true. |  | | |

Perfect move for him. He has suffered from our quick rise from the Championship. He isn't PL ready and probably never will be. Decent lad and hope that he does well for them and can get a move there in the summer. Mid to lower Championship is probably going to be his ceiling. Wish him well. |  |
