Not Enjoying The Premier League. 16:04 - Jan 25 with 594 viewsStochesStotasBlewe

Liverpool haven’t needed to get out of first gear yet. The same as Citeh last Sunday.
The gulf in class between the top six or so teams and the rest is ridiculous, and even then, the next six or seven teams are way better than the bottom four.
Apart from the fact that seeing the best players in the flesh on a regular basis is something to behold, even with the huge sums of money we’ve spent, we’re not even competitive in some of the games.
Should be grateful for how far we’ve come as a club but I’m starting to really miss the championship at times now.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

The Championship is the best league in the world imho. Look at the result last night, proves anyone can beat anyone and it’s much more exciting. I know everyone wants to play in the PL but it’s becoming impossible for promoted teams to stay up even if they spend big like us or have recently been in the division like the Foxes and Saints

Yep, can’t disagree with any of that. This is season 55 following Town, I was so excited about getting to the top flight again but it just felt a bit flat. Guess I’ll just have to make the most of it but I’m struggling to enjoy it ATM.

The first season is pain, I'm not really enjoying it much. If you can stay up like Forest or Bournemouth, good days may lie ahead.

The one thing in our favour is that there are more than 3 realtively poor teams. We could be 8 points adrift in another season

So my Norwich supporting mates were right - they told me it would be any fun.

At the moment they were right! This is tough, tough watching.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

I am. Spent years of wishing we had something to play for after February and here we are putting up a good fight of staying in the Premier League.

That said, once you get beyond us playing some of the best players in the world, these last two games haven't been fun.

I expect this is where someone brings up Bournemouth/Fulham/Forest. The thing is Bournemouth had been established already in the PL and bounced right back, Fulham yoyoed for years, and Forest, well they are an exception but they broke the rules to do it. Brentford are the only real exception that have done it within the rules, through incredible recruitment. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Burnley and Sheff Utd come straight back up and the third promoted team is Leeds who obviously still have parachute money.
