Noticed that all the PL fixtures that weekend are scheduled for the Sunday (the penultimate weekend) - is that right? Planning something and want to be sure.

The FA Cup final is on the Saturday and the PL agreement with the FA is that there are to be no matches on the Friday and Saturday. Could be rearranged for a day other than the Sunday.

It irritates me greatly that (Play Off games aside) that the FACup final isn't the last game of the season.

however I do spot a problem with the FA and premier leagues scheduling here, what happens if a premier league team is the final ?

cos they cant play within 72hours or whatever it is, so suddenly someone gets the hospital pass of playing a game midweek so the season finishes the next sunday ?
