Looks like he walked? Don’t know anything about the club but they got a win yesterday

If 1 home win all season is acceptable then he should have been easily safe with 2.

Although looks more like he has decided rather than the club.

They're bottom of the National League North with 25 points. The two above them are also on 25, and the three above them are on 26 with four going down.

That's got to be a tough league for a club like Needham.

The North Vs South divide has become more and more ridiculous over the years too. The travel implications are crazy.

Yes, I was up in Crosby, Merseyside a few weeks ago and was surprised to see that Marine's next game was against Needham Market, given the distance involved.

Much like us, they are battling at overdrive to compete in a much stronger league than they are used to playing in. I’ve seen them a few times this season as they’re up the road from me, most recent game was Chester at home (now the leaders), game with very little in it that they lost 1-0 to a late goal. Not sure if that sounds familiar.

That division is a mix of full-time and part-time setups, with financial disparity to match.

Needham were away at Scunthorpe on Tuesday evening, This midweek they have a trip to Brackley, and another midweek trip to Scarborough in March. Ridiculous...

Even for league teams long midweek journeys are demanding, let only lower down the pyramidwhere players have other commitments. Watching from afar it affected Lowestoft when they went up, Bishops Stortford are struggling this year after being relegated from the North last season. It needs sorting out really, but not sure how under the current regional structure.

On a separate point, If Lowestoft and Sudbury can stay up, Leiston don't go up, Needham get relegated and one (or both) of Bury and Felixstowe were to get promoted, that would be 6 Suffolk teams at level 3. Not sure if that's a good thing with so many teams fighting for the better players.l, butngood for local interest.

Away travel was more than 8000 miles for the league fixtures alone as I recall.
